I’m sending an email to Neff that I won’t spend another dime on Clemson Basketball until that mediocre ### coach is gone.
The fact that Clemson is paying this man millions a year makes me want to puke. We can do better.

Gotta agree here. I rarely criticize any Clemson coach but not having Hall in the game would be like Dabo pulling Boulware on the ND 2 point conversion in the rain because he’s concerned he might get a targeting call. I feel really bad for PJ. Sitting and watching that had to be just killing him. The kid is playing his heart out and has to watch that happen.

I agree Hall is the best offensive player. He is not yet the best defensive player. Collins is normally a good defensive player, but he got caught ball watching and it bit the team. At first glance, I thought Hunter that was guarding Love had made a mistake letting him penetrate, but Love over penetrated, and had to find someone cutting to basket. They made a play when they needed it, and we didn't.

PJ can be a force in the paint. He had 4 or 5 blocked shots last night. He was the best hope we had of forcing a lower percentage shot instead of giving up something right under the basket.

Results what results are we talking about. Do we actually have another Brownell apologists that wants to defend Brownell's results. The point is the ACC is terrible and we are doing terrible in it. Clemson basketball = Duke football in a bad ACC football conference. No way to spin it. He is mediocre, has always been, maybe the greatest guy ever but to defend results is asinine.

He is a little above average which is better than our historical results. His results are also better than the investment we dedicate to the program. I am sure there was a reason Hall was on the bench but instead of trying to understand you prefer whining like a little coot bioch.

We heard coach B’s explanation and I’m sorry but it still doesn’t make sense. Like I said it would be the equivalent of Dabo taking Boulware out for the ND 2 point conversion because he’s concerned he may get a targeting call. I’m concerned about what effect it could have on PJ from an attitude standpoint. Playing your heart out and then having to sit and watch that happen can’t be good for his psyche.

Apologists you sound like the coot biotch settling for average wait for next year drivel. Sorry above average dont get it done in the last few years of what is currently the ACC basketball so no need to compare Brownell with Clemson bball coaches from the 80's and 90's (apples and oranges biotch).

Brownell is Clemson's winningest and also losingest basketball coach ever but only because hes been here for so long. He ranks 5th in overall winning % out of the last 7 coaches dating back to 1970 ahead of only Shyatt amd Locke. He does rank 1st in conference winning % but the ACC over the last few years doesnt even compare to the ACC of the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's or even 10's.
I wouldnt even call him above average. Clemson can do better and we have, time for him to go.

Average and that is a stretch. He has coached in the nicest facilities Clemson has ever had in basketball and coached against the worst competition the ACC has ever had in my lifetime and he is average. No way to spin it. Investments were made to the facilities so that bs means nothing. No expectations from the higher ups is all I can figure because Clemson can do better.
