Breakout players for tomorrow nite's game will be.........

Shaq Lawson on defense
Martavis Bryant on offense
What new starters/players do y'all think will have a big game?

Wishful thinking considering he's not even on the two-deep

I think he'll bust some heads on special teams though. But not on defense.

Is Lawson starting? I though Beasley was getting most the snaps on that side

Beasly might become a liabilty against the run.

If that happens they might put in Lawson or maybe even move Crawford back to the WDE spot and let Barnes take the SDE spot. Remember we still haven't seen Venables' "Endy" package which has 4 DEs on the line to get after teh QB

True, I honestly think Lawson is a better run stuffer than Beasley, so I'd love to see what Venables has planned

As much as I hate to say it, Beasley just isn't getting it done against the run and I think GA will run at him every chance they get. Lawson will probably wind up with more reps than Beasley.
Just a rumor, but I've "heard" the coaches think the same thing for this game.

Maybe irelivent(sp) to the topic, but I don't see Vic Beasley having a big game tomorrow. I think he'll struggle against teams with a GOOD running game.
I like the upside LONG TERM of Lawson. #21

I agree with you but look out for G-Hop as well

I think both he and Bryant are going to show their speed and improvement since spring camp.
On defense I'm excited about having Breeland and Jenkins back but I look for Anthony to really show his improvement at the MIKE position.

Do you have any insider scoop on kick return game? Our punt return game was particularly boring last year...

I heard that Sammy, Green, G-hop have been doing it

Green especially was an exceptional kick return player in HS. The staff used Nuk and Humphries to catch punts because they cared more about securing the kick and getting the offense on the field. Ever since Sammy fumbled that punt against UMD in 2011 they seem to go with the most sure handed players and ensure the punt wasn't fumbled. Not a bad idea with our offense

Martavis Bryant/Zac Brooks on offense and....

I dont know on defense. Maybe, Martin Jenkins?? I keep hoping and praying for a breakout from Quandon. If he could play up to his potential, that would be huge for our LB corp.

with these choices and will include Williams in the mix. Solid player for a young guy with little fanfare.

I'm gonna go with Martavis Bryant on offense, because with Georgia running that 3-4 defense, Tajh is probably going to throw more jump balls than usual passes, and Bryant is a perfect target to get over the defenders and bring it down.

I feel like our D will come out and show themselves, because they are known to the nation as the question mark, and that has got to get to them and make them wanna play their hardest, if anything else doesn't.
