Big weekend in College Football.

Oct 15, 2022, 2:30 AM

Goodmorning Tiger Nation! Looking at the games outside of our own with FSU and I was wondering who everyone is picking to win.

Alabama @ Tennessee: I want to pick Alabama here but with the way they've been playing with fire this year, they're due for a loss but I'll stick with Alabama winning this one.

Penn State @ Michigan: Neither of these teams are really "proven". On paper this a toss up game. I'll take Penn State.

Kansas @ Oklahoma: Kansas won't have their starting QB this week but their backup isn't awful and I think Gabriel is coming back this week for OU. When was the last time Kansas beat OU in football? 1997. 25 years ago. Oklahoma is a mess right now but I think they'll somehow find a way to beat Kansas. Picking OU.

Oklahoma State @ TCU: This is easily the least hyped up game of the weekend and I'm unsure why. I think OSU wins because they have a solid defense. But I'm expecting it to be a fun one.

NC State @ Syracuse: No Leary for NC State. This game is going to be very interesting and will be the game I switch to when Bama/Tenn is in commercial break. We will finally get to see what Syracuse is made of. It'll go to the end but give me Syracuse because of noisy hot dome that has no AC for some reason and no passing for NC State.

Miss St. @ Kentucky: Kentucky gets their QB back. Miss St. has to go on the road to beat a ranked team now. I think Kentucky finds a way to win.

Real USC @ Utah: I don't know squat of either of these teams. Gimme Utah because I want the upset.

LSU/Florida: I'll take Florida in a close game. The records of these teams (4-2) don't really reflect who they are. Florida is a rollercoaster and you don't know what you will get. LSU, you know what you're getting and it's just mediocre at best.

Duh U/Virginia Tech: The battle for who's the worst. I'll take Miami to eek it out here because VT has a herrendous offense that is truly offensive.

North Carolina @ Duke: Both of these teams are just sneaking along their way for a Coastal division title. I honestly couldn't tell you who is going to win. Okay, I flipped a coin and it landed on heads and not heels. Give me Duke in a close one.

I hope to see everyone's picks here in a few hours when everyone wakes up. But most importantly, GO TIGERS!

Well, how about that. Congrats to Syracuse for finally getting some AC last year.

Also I only consider the Utah/USC game an upset based on the rankings, not the spread. (I should've mentioned that before hand, that's my fault).

I went there for the Clemson game in 2019. Early October. Sweated my ### of. Men’s room smelled like a stable. Went back last fall. Big difference.

It sure is a big day! Lots of narrative forming games for the media to run with. I'm looking forward to how things shake out this weekend and expect surprises & controversy as always. Don't want to venture into making my own picks but will definitely follow this post to see what others are thinking!

Excellent.

Outside of Clemson/FSU, "gimme (team name) because I want the upset" is on point today.

Chaos at the top is always fun.
