The money and geography say otherwise. SEC revenues > BIG revenues. We have more history playing SEC teams.

Big 10 offers us more money than the ACC... AND
Big 10 offers us better annual pathways to the CFP than the SEC.
It's the best of both worlds.
I don't have any doubt we'd hold our own in the SEC, but let's exploit the weak talent in the BIG 10 instead.

If you think playing Wisconsin or the wasteland known as Nebraska in sub-zero temps would be a "fun" road trip, I have news for you.
Here's another tidbit: The BIG wants ND before ANY ACC team---if ND goes to the BIG, why in the world would we decline an SEC invite? If we get one, you can be sure the BOT takes it.

It was a mistake to add BC and Cuse to the ACC. Those are two road trips I won't miss.

I am sure at some point, we will hear from Dabo and that will be interesting. Neither expansion nor changing conferences are our decisions until the ACC meets or another conference sends an RSVP. Worry or be happy when it is time but either way, we will have a great football program.

I'm pretty sure Dabo has already spoken to the changing landscape of college football regarding NIL, conference realignment etc. This isn't the first time at the rodeo with conference realignment during his tenure. Agreed it's the presidents and A.D's making the decisions.
