This year our version of the RPO offense has been to use DJ more as a batter ram, not sure how appealing that looks to a real dual threat QB. Traditionally QB draws out of a spread offense and an attempt to get them out on the edge is where most mobile QB’s succeed not running into a stacked box. Granted, given DJ’s lack of quick twitch and foot speed, plus his size, current scheme requires this.

This seems irrelevant. DJ is more like Tahj than DW and is used accordingly. If a prospective QB recruit thinks we will not use him as his talents indicate, he is misreading our staff.
