Hell of an effort...

Jan 25, 2022, 9:11 PM

And if they play like this down the stretch they could be dancing. We just need the consistency...I hate to use the football analysis but Bowdens teams always played well against the big dogs and would then lay eggs against inferior opponents. I sincerely hope this team takes tonight as proof that they can beat anyone if they play with focus and intensity.

I enjoy watching basketball (my expectations have been managed by past results) but I truly believe we can play like this every night...the question is will we.

Heck of an effort and I'm looking forward to the next game. This team has plenty left on the table and I believe that they believe.

Go Tigers!

Question is: why haven’t they played like this before now and why has Chase Hunter not been playing?

I was thinking same thing… where the he** has Hunter been? Why is this just happening?

It’s games like tonight that helps Brownell keep his job. It’s the BC, and likely GT games coming up that make you say WTH.

Proud of our guys but I’ve seen this movie so many times. If Brad could get them to play this way each night out we would have been in the tournament several more times. As you mentioned the Bowden effect takes over and we lose a 23 point lead to an inferior BC team coached by a former Clemson assistant. Everybody gets excited and will say let’s give him another year as he is close. Then the same movie is played again.

In a very hostile environment too. I love how the team has played the last two games. Fingers crossed that they can keep this up and end the season on a positive note.
