Giving out 2.5 million to a single player, fully expect the west coast to take over in the near future. Nobody can compete with Hollywood money. This is why imo Dabo is a genius, with figuring how to get NIL deals but not make it a focal point. The schools that are solely relying on NIL money are going to be up a creek when Hollywood gets involved.

you mean, what if Harvard wanted to win ANOTHER national title. They have 7. Waaaaaaaay more than Georgia has. And you're right, it wouldn't take Harvard 40 years to do it either.

Well, there is a high concentration of personal wealth when you get to any of the metropolitan centers of the US. It really gets down to who wants to spend their $$$ on NIL stuff. There are casual big money fans and then there are diehard big money fans.

University of Pennsylvania might top Harvard and the other Ivy's as far as NIL buying power really soon.
For every BioNTech Covid-19 shot administered around the globe, U of Pennsylvania gets a royalty.
U of Penn got ~ $400 MM in royalties from Moderna in first 9 months of 2021. (WSJ article - Dec. 19)
They also got big royalties from Pfizer / BioNTech (i.e., partnership between these companies to make Covid-19 vaccines), but the $ amount was not in the article.
We're talking billions of dollars in royalties to U of Penn in 2022 (based on the ~ 50% rise in estimated global sales of Covid-19 vaccines for 2022 vs. 2021.
Suggestions for nameing the U of Penn NIL bribe corporation:
The Pfighting Pfizers
The Modernas of Midway
If U of Penn wants to buy a college football national championship, it's hard to imagine any other university being able to outspend them.

It’s not Hollywood money, that’s nothing, it’s Silicon Valley money… it’s the only thing equal or possibly bigger than oil money.
