Power Brokers need to keep playoffs @ 4 to counter the SEC

12 team playoffs would be a gravy train for the SEC. Half this expanded conference would be in the tourney every year.

The CFP needs to stay at 4 teams with a cap of 2 teams from one conference can be in the field.

2 of the 4 committee members that formulated the plan were Sankey and Swarbrick. I am shocked that the $EC and Notre Lame benefit from this plan more than most. Shoot it down baby!

After Texas and Oklahoma players instantly obtain SEC size and SEC speed, they will benefit from quality SEC losses to move up in the Committee’s eyes. It’s only fair. No one from other conferences will have had to face such a gauntlet and been so battle-tested.

12 teams makes no sense. I prefer 4, but 8 teams max.

It can be expanded to 8 teams...with a limit of two per conference

Lets just make it simple-
They rank 130 teams a year.
The #1 team plays the #130 and so on until there is only one team left.

Everybody gets a participation trophy and nobody gets their little feelings hurt. The SEC should have no problems with this- I mean it should always come down to the SEC- they would not have to face that daunting schedule of the SEC- until the end, RIGHT!

should be a max of 2 from a conf for 6 or 8 maybe 3 for 12. 2 from 1 conf with only 4 spots is pretty ridiculous also IMO
