I believe in its 15 year history, maybe 5-6 power 5 schools have played in it. UVA was in it the first season and that's the only ACC team to ever play that tournament.

but at this point, why drag out a season any further, especially when we've had a couple guys hurt over last half of season. If we would've got beat in it, everyone would be *****ing more about state of our program & we couldn't win a tournament loaded w/ mid-majors (keep in mind, needed OT to beat Drake, who's #1 seed). If we would've won it, it'd be at least a 50-50 split of folks *****ing about winning a tournament full of mid-majors & folks demanding Brownell get a lifetime deal b/c he lead us to our 1st postseason tournament title.

Let's let basketball just rest in peace for the year & focus on rooting for the spring sports to finish the year out strong.
