since Iowa St has their entire coaching staff intact and foaming at the mouth while Dabo is hustling to find fill-ins at least to man the ship.
Saying, Coach has his hands full and securing a 10th win in 2021 may be his best coaching “em up” ever, considering the surreal happenings involving this season!
What say you?

we can beat Iowa State. On defense, I don't expect to see quite the variety of formations and schemes that Brent would run. Much more basic. On offense, we can turn it into a typical Big 10 game-- lots of running. So, yeah, we can win.

If he can help "little old Clemson" win two Nattys and come close to winning two others................................ABSOLUTELY!! This game will be tough, but Clemson can win it.

Another way to look at it Bill, is we probably know what Iowa St is going to do. With a bunch of new coaches they may have NO idea what we are going to do. Spot the ball.

it would seem that the best way to avoid chaos and confusion and extra work for themselves would be for the offensive staff not to reinvent the wheel, to do what was working towards the end of the season. With all the changes going on, it might be harder than normal to suddenly change things up during the pre-bowl down/practice weeks.

Clemson Defense will cause Iowa St all kinds of problems. Shipley, Pace and Mafah gonna get over 200 yds on the ground combined and we may actually be a little healthier on offense and that will bode well for a 34-17, tiger win!

Iowa State will make life miserable for DJ. IF.., the OL can play better than usual, Clemson can win this game. They will need to run the ball effectively, stay out of third and longs and move the sticks. Iowa State is a good football team up front. It appears that out team may be a little healthier than they have been. The Tiger defense will be very good also. Not likely to be a high scoring game. Special teams may play a big role

It would surprise if TE's future is not decided today. Wirh that I suspect Dabo will have new or temp coaches in place before the first bowl practice. I get the feeling this will be a re-energized team. They will have something to prove and I can see an overwhelming win. Not a knock on Iowa st as they are well coached but i just think we will see a completely different team come Dec 29th
