My thought son the game. for what they are worth

which is nothing. and a bit late as well.
I walked away with a feeling that we got whipped, everywhere. I had nothing to cry about.
From the second quarter on something just did not feel right, something was off.
Where was the up tempo, where was Watkins, where was the clemson offense ?
Defense ? Where was the secondary ?
But I thought they played hard and with great effort.
It was a great game from a college football fans point of view .
We came up a little short, but I have no regrets being there, screaming till I could not speak, being kept warm by fellow Tigers.
In fact, I loved it !

chunk it deep every time we hit the 50 during the 2nd quarter when we were running it all over them. Just because we hit that one big pass doesn't mean we need to try it on first down every time thereafter.
No clue why we kept doing that. Instead of 2nd and 6, we'd get sacked and it would be 2nd and 16.

They lined up and RAN the ball. Came back in basically the same set and then threw that pass. Moral of the story...sometimes running the ball can help keep the pass rush from being as strong and help set up the pass. Although the D wasn't great, the Chad kind of forgot some O vs D basics after that.

I love Chad to death. But he's done the exact same thing in all 6 of our losses the past two years.
I'm convinced that we could have kept it a game with WVU if we kept running the ball. Same for SCAR and NCSU last year.

That is waht I was feeling during the game . I felt like we would win when they were down on our six and 3rd down.

Because it was so close, and we had an opportunity to make something happen up until Dabo punted there at the end.
Also should have got more out that first drive in the 4th quarter than a FG.

I heard while I was still in the upstate that Clemson had been working on this particular gameplan all year.
Don't get me wrong. love Dabo, but doesn't he always preach to coach Clemson, not coach to the game ?
