It’s hard to fire family

Sep 26, 2021, 8:51 AM

Love our family atmosphere, but Dabo needs to say goodbye to a few of our coaches. I think it will be hard for Dabo to fire family.

In the meantime, why not hire another co-offensive coordinator to make play calls?

That's why you don't (or shouldn't) hire family. There's easily 5 or 6 coaches that need to go asap, and Dabo needs to hire outside the program or whatever it takes to get the talent (like BV). Dabo also needs to let his ego go and let people do their jobs

Just like a family business.

Hire someone for 100K to tell the family member making 2M what to do.

Not so hard after you've made them millionaires...

Plus every offensive coach on this staff knows some pink slips are coming.

Preventing nepotism is exactly why the 2 major companies I worked for would not hire family members of any employees (top to bottom).
