Pulling for Pitt to do us a favor in the Atlantic race

tonight. Always helps when a Coastal team beats an Atlantic team not named Clemson.

I am pulling for a close game but ultimately I want FSU to

be undefeated when they come to the Valley. We need all the help we can get in terms of quality wins. Our schedule is setup just right. #5 at begining, top 10 in middle, and hopefully a top 10 to finish....those are 3 good wins spread throughout the season.

with you. I think I have to pull for Pitt here in the conference race. It is a shame because it'd be nice to have two very highly ranked ACC teams.

The good news is that it doesn't matter

It is better for us in the ACC standings if Pitt wins. It is potentially better for us in the national standings (down the road) if FSU wins.
And who we pull for in this game tonight doesn't matter I'll just treat it as a win/win no matter what happens.

Our Tigers can beat FSU at home. I for one want an undefeated FSU team coming into the Valley on October 19th.

One loss in acc means nothing, still goes head to head... We need an undefeated FSU team to add to our resume at the end.

Eh..Not so sure I agree with you on this one. Here's why: While I'd love to see FSU get beatdown, if they do then a loss to Pitt will make them look like a relatively weak football team. Seeing as Georgia, FSU, and the Cooters are the only "quality"/noteworthy teams we play that add most of the muscle to our SOS, I personally want FSU to look like a strong opponent when we play them so that when we beat them up it makes us look that much more formidable of a powerhouse team. We need the ACC to look as dominant as it can this season so that, come the end of the year, if we're still undefeated our SOS will match up favorably against Oregon and Ohio State, or whoever else has a solid chance of being undefeated as well.

Again. Screw them. An undefeated 13-0 Clemson team will play for title. Enough teams ranked ahead of us play each other. Only team we can cheer for this year us.
