Ben Martin is also in the field. He’s in the previous season 126-150 category.

Yeah, sadly I checked this morning and he didn't make it. Dissapointing. Just takes one win to keep playing. Thanks for the info.

worked scoring there for a number of years. Super course other than the back to back par 5's. In fact years ago Nancy Lopez played there (different course then). He husband Ray KNight had a day off and followed her. We talked to Ray a good bit during the round. They are super folks.

Them gals could play. Remember watching it on TV years ago and it was not often, only majors. Not much interest now until we get more TIGERS playing and hopefully winning. We need us a dominant American golfer, jmho.

I once played Inwood Country Club on Long Island. It’s the course where Bobby Jones won his first US Open, and it has three consecutive par fives. That was pretty unique, but it is a great layout.

Turk played @ the Auburn University Club Invitational

last week . . . Finishing tied for 11th Place after 4 Rounds
This is an 8 Tournament Series called the Forme Tour, where the Top 5 @ Season’s End will earn the right to play next year on the Korn Ferry Tour . . . the minor leagues of the PGA
I’ve included our Tiger Participants from last week above . . . This Tour plays again in 2 weeks and I am assuming Turk will continue his efforts there . . . The Forme Schedule is posted above also.
Hope that answers your question?!!!
BTW - Here is a Link to their “Order of Merit” (their accumulated standings YTD): https://www.pgatour.com/canada/en_us/orderofmerit.html

The summary article from the recent tournament mentions that Turk earned an invite to the next tournament in Illinois. Since he finished T11, I have to guess that at least the Top 15, maybe 20 or 25, earn an invite to the next tournament. So, when you combine this with his qualifier win for the Birck Boilermaker Classic, he should have a spot on the next two Frome Tour events at a minimum.
Bryson should have status in all eight events of the Forme Tour based on his finish on the Mackenzie Tour in 2019. Carson has status on at least the first four events due to his T7 finish in Q school.
Hopefully, Carson and Turk can keep earning points so that they secure a spot on a reshuffle list that lets them keep playing past the next two events.

Back to the John Deere Classic this week . . .
Jul 6, 2021, 5:17 PM

This is a great week for a Tiger to win . . . Not just because we have several Tigers in the Field, but because several of the “Big Guns” will be playing the Scottish Open in preparation for next week’s Open Championship . . . It always helps to lessen the competition . . . Looking for a Tiger(s) to shine!!!
Pat Mayo (Golf Betting Analysis) likes “The Glove”, Kyle (if he putts well) and even gave Doc and Ben a shout: https://youtu.be/q6RvvZKzPmE
Not a follower, just stumbled across him.

Thanks for the info!
Additionally, Jonathan won the John Deere Classic in 2007 and finished T5 in 2017, Kyle finished 2nd in 2011, Ben finished 2nd in 2016, and Lucas finished T10 in 2019. So, there is some history of Top 10 finishes with several of our guys.
Rob Bolton likes Kyle as a sleeper pick.
