New ticket system...Customer Service????

Tried to call the Clemson Ticket Office to ask questions about the new system at 8:30 this morning. 18 callers in the que. Tried again an hour later and now none of the phone options are working.

Guess the new system is running so well they don't need to provide customer service anymore at the ticket office.

Not only that but all personal information is being given to Ticketmaster. Who approved this???

Paciolan (sp?) also had your information. TM probably already has yours if you have gone to any concerts, Clemson Bowl Games, the CLEM/UGA game last year, etc....

Anytime there is a changeover there is going to be some kinks. TM is certainly not perfect, but its what most major programs and events now use. Ppl should remember that Paciolan (sp?) was antiquated and wasn't user friendly...part. when ordering tickets online. The ticket office HAD to upgrade to keep up.

I had issues yesterday and used the chat feature. First told that my e-mail address, the one they had sent IPTAY e-mails to this week, wasn't an IPTAY e-mail. Then I gave them my IPTAY number and I was actually told that they couldn't look up my account with the number. I couldn't get into the tickets and after an hours or so on chat and being told multiple times that it was obviously my problem and that no one else was having issues they told me that my name was in the system 16 times. I told them that was impossible because my name is not very common. I asked if it was possible that they had more than one account with my e-mail. Turns out that yes, all of the accounts with my e-mail were mine, they seemed surprised. Finally they deleted my non-IPTAY accounts and everything started working.

Question 1, how does the new system not look for duplicate accounts and e-mail addresses. Everything worked great for me before.

Questions 2, how can they share information with Ticketmaster without permission. I already had a Ticketmaster account but still a question.

I believe they have created a huge PITA that will take some time before it works correctly. And they created it at a critical time of the year.

I was one of those 18 people on hold.....I was driving so I just stayed on hold for an hour and I now know every note of the defensive song the band plays.....I was finally able to speak to Tina and she was very helpful.

It is very rare to find customer service now. It is also very rare to find someone that knows what they are doing or talking about.

Today’s standard business model is…..give us your money and stop bothering us.
