My thoughts on decommittment Monday.....

Jan 7, 2013, 1:56 PM

Take this is an opportunity to go out and get more offensive line, defensive line, and linebacker prospects. What is the apparent difference between the SEC and all of the other conferences? The front 7! We've got a ton of talent at all of the skill positions already on campus. I know it would only make our strengths even stronger to add Jenkins and Robinson, but they aren't All IN. Go out and get the kids that are.

IMO this allows us to go out and take some chances on a few kids that may be a little under the radar. Get them on campus and see what happens. We've got a really young team right now, so in all likelyhood the recruits we get right now won't see the field for 2 or 3 years anyway. Get some guys in that want to get in the program and develop for a few years. Guys that want to be at Clemson. In the past what has killed us is not building enough quality depth at the front 7 positions to have consistent teams year after year. Lets start that process right now.

Oh yea by the way...Martavis Bryant, Sammy Watkins, Adam Humphries, Charone Peake, Germone Hopper, Daniel Rodriguez, Mike Williams, Jayron Kearse, and possibly Nuk Hopkins SAY "WE TOO DEEP!"

Kearse won't be a WR. Most likely a safety

Wouldn't be surprised if he gets his shot. I would think

we recruited him as a S mostly because he doesn't have the hands to be a good WR, but who knows? Maybe he can work on the catching part and give it shot.

Why is that funny...That guy will have a huge impact on

Clemson the next 3 years. He may not rack up yards and TD's but his special teams play will be BIG for us. He is also a leader in the locker room. Show me another team in the country with a kid like him. He is IMO one of the most important players on our team.
