Are we sure? Miami might have better athletes, but the jury is still out on the coaching.

UVA has better offensive line without question

And their defensive line is better than Miami.
The athletes might be better but the lines are where the Tigers will need to dominate. Clemson was off a bye week and not as focused as needed but a 41-23 win is nice. It’s 3 games into season, Clemson gets better and better as year goes on with guys getting experience and learning what to do and where to be. Miami is good football team with a difference maker at QB.
If King plays great, it could be trouble. My thoughts are he plays decent but the Tigers defense is not Louisville. We get stops and turnovers and go to 4-0

You are correct. Miami will clean our clocks, if we play like we did last night. Maybe they need to focus more on playing football. They seem to have lost their edge, with all the distractions.

Why is everybody buying that Miami is so great? Maybe they are and maybe they are not. The teams that the have beaten so far. UBA Louisville Florida State- just a note here- they had a hard time with Jacksonville State
Virginia- beat NC State- which just yesterday beat the #24 team in the country (Pitt).
Maybe Virginia is not a bad team after all. The important thing is to learn from the problems and improve each week and do what the TIGERS do- WIN!

Absolutely no reason to assume Miami is better than UVA !

None whatsoever.
The Canes may prove to be a great team, but to this point they have proven absolutely nothing other that that the media wants them to “Be Back” so very badly.
It reminds me of the media and Tiger Woods.

UVA isn't a bad team at all; just not Clemson good - UVA

will be a tough out for everyone else on the schedule. UVA beat Duke by 18, not NC State. UVA plays NC State this weekend. Va Tech just struggled to beat Duke by 7 and got ranked. lol UVA will be in top 25 before season is done. Congratulations on the victory on Saturday, hope you crush the canes this weekend.

IMHO Clemson spanks MIA with their average coaching staff. Bronco can coach and look for Clemson to be more motivated next week.

UVA was our annual "stink" game. IMO, it's actually good it happened just prior to playing Miami because the players won't be tempted by complacency. They should be on edge from the start.
For the doubters, just know Miami's defense isn't very good. Unless we turn the ball over a bunch, even an other-worldy game from D'Eriq King (which, brace yourself, could very well happen) won't be enough.
The keys are:
1 Our offense should shred their defense the entire game. Simple as that.
2 Our D-line needs to pressure King and not give him time to set his feet and throw. I'm confident in this because Miami's O-line is mediocre. The D-line must also rush in a disciplined manner to limit King's ability to scramble for long yardage. He's a pass-first guy but can run it 80 yards to the house.
3 Our DBs have to play worth a dime. We've seen King snipe defenses to death with short and mid-range passes but he can also deliver the long ball. Not worried about DK; whoever is on the other side is my concern.

King's a baller, can't play that 3 man line against him, Clemson will win but it will be closer than many think. 42-28
