What we have seen of him he’s not looked good. When you add to that the fact that he’s coming off of a torn Achilles it should be a no brainer why the staff is doing what they are doing. But, please, continue to take cheap shots at the greatest Clemson coach of all time.

Oklahoma has an all world 5 star backup true frosh. We have Taisun who Dabo has seen for years coming off a torn achilles. Apples and oranges situations. They basically had a Justin Fields ir a Deshau Watson coming off of their bench.

Kuddos to Lincoln for making a tough call to pull his touted Heisman candidate. But the 9 million dollar question is Lincoln obviously knew what he had in his true freshman (who didn't play in HS last year) as opposed to only a Dabo and staff know what we have in TP.

All that said, I do still think in the NC State game, TP should at least gotten a series to see if it ignited a spark and could have made something happen in the rpo and QB designed runs. We just don't know.

DW4 was a 4 star. Just like TP . And we have a 5 star #1 QB in the nation that can’t move the offense. Because he isn’t ready. TP won’t win a natty for us. But would win the ACC. DJ has the potential to win a natty . So they don’t want to bench him because he would hit the transfer portal the next day. The team doesn’t like him and it’s obvious. So him leaving may fire up the team, but will leave us even more empty in the cupboard. We have lost to much to the transfer portal. If there’s anything that I wish Dabo would change is his block of the portal. We are running out of bodies. Now I’d love to see an OC come in to help Elliott. But I understand why DJ hasn’t been benched. And it has nothing to do with TP can’t play. I’ve seen him play. His handoffs are smooth. One of several things DJ can’t do.

I think that it would do him good to watch and talk with the coaches about what is going on in real time for a series or 2. I have no expectations that Taisun would perform to the point that DJ's job would be in danger. If DJ's psyche can't handle that then he is never going to be the man anyhow.
