Last year we won 17 games, 6 in the ACC.

This year, we've already won 18, and 7 in the ACC.

Great progress that should continue next year with what we should have returning.

In retrospect, while last year's team had more talent, but it was less successful. The teamwork, ball movement and unselfishness appear to be the big difference. My analysis is that Blossingame, while talented, was somewhat of a "ball hog." Once he lost his 3 point shot, in many instances his play was detrimental to the team's success. Also, Grantham's talents were obscured by the lack of ball movement, to the point where he totally lost his confidence. Without his injury, this team had a higher ceiling, but at least last night showed the team has plenty of fight, and if the 3 freshmen getting some playing time can make modest contributions, we can continue to compete at a fairly high level, and maybe get the ACC bye and be seeded as high as 4 in NCAA tournament. Time will tell.

I’d say you’re right on target. Really did seem the team stood around and forced it to blassingame.
