Khurtis Perry (DT recruiting target) - rumor update

FWIW, a non-TNet source of information (which will remain anonymous per TNet rules) reports that Clemson 2022 D-tackle recruit Khurtis Perry (Montomgery, AL) has Auburn in the lead after having his OV at the Iron Bowl on Saturday.

Auburn has allegedly told him that he can be an edge rusher; his other candidate schools tell him (honestly) that they want him as a DT.

OPINION (mine only): Lying to recruits is still apparently a successful tactic for desperate programs. Sad that kids in particular and people in general are so easily fooled by hearing what they want to hear.

Honesty wins in the end. We are in a transition year with NIL and the unrestricted portal. Dabo’s message will stay the same, and the virtuous will rise again, as they always do, when this little cloud passes.
