I am scrolling through their historical data and I just saw a 61-5 loss to Georgetown in 1916. I'm still searching though

Dabo wouldn't only not be able to let off the gas , he would need to shoot the nitrous to her down the back stretch .
130-0 ...Let's go !

I hope the boys play with this goal and the coaches confound their efforts by putting in the waterboy and cheerleaders in the fourth quarter.

That is amazing to think about. That is 2.13 points per minute. A little more than 18 touchdowns scored every 3.3 minutes! I think you offense would get winded at that rate!
Honestly, I'd love a convincing win, but any port in a storm! Any win will do.

John Heisman was coach of GT in 1918. Also of note, John Heisman was the coach of GT during college football's most lopsided game, GT-Cumberlnd 222-0 in 1916. Look at the 1917 season... 1917-Georgia Tech (Independent)
9/29 vs. Furman (3-5) W 25 0 9/29 vs. Wake Forest (1-6-1) W 33 0 10/6 vs. Pennsylvania (9-2) W 41 0 10/13 vs. Davidson (6-4) W 32 10 10/20 vs. Washington & Lee (4-3) W 63 0 11/3 vs. Vanderbilt (5-3) W 83 0 11/10 @ Tulane (5-3) W 48 0 11/17 vs. Carlisle (3-6) W 98 0 11/29 vs. Auburn (6-2-1) W 68 7 9-0-0
I'm thinking he liked to run up the score. The next year, 1918 he hands NC State a 128-0 pasting, their worst loss ever (AKA "worse loss ever" for the grammatically challenged). Also of note, he was the coach for Georgia Tech's worst loss ever at 0-73 in 1903... but for the other team, Clemson (which is why they hired him).

NCSU will be up for the game, the fans will be ready. Don't expect this to be a cakewalk. Actually, don't even expect to win. 2011 wasn't that long ago.

i think it's time to start believing in this team. i don't think this team will have a ### game. this team is way better than nc state. clemson would have to turn it over about 4-5 times to have a chance of losing this game. if they play somewhere even CLOSE to their ability... it WONT be close. just like the rest of their games on the schedule.

It can go to their heads. I get what you are saying obviously, but I do think it 's a factor. It's not a huge factor, but it is a factor in my opinion.

expects failure and doesn't truly embrace "Best IS the standard."
I think Dabo said it best when he said, "If we lose, we just got beat." It ain't because of something that happened in 2011.
Come on man.
Either start being all in with this team, or GTFO.

I completely believe in this team. As a matter of fact I put my money where my mouth is. If the Tigers win it all I get 4400 dollars. I just think that type of talk does no good and at most hurts and doesn't hep a bit. No good come out of it. That's just my opinion. To each their own though. I respect your opinion.

Don't worry. I'm doing jumping jacks and push-ups every afternoon. And drawing up plays in the dirt. No let down here. I'll be fired up when I hit the field Saturday!

Now that's funny!!! So, who was the head coach at the time that said "no" to Wilson playing baseball AND football that resulted in going to the Badgers? Need a hint? He was the head coach at BC that said after a win at DV over the Tigers, "Well, I guess we showed those Southern Boys that we Yankees can play football!"

They could be in for a wallop, but it's hard to score 130 even on a lower Divison II school.
