Would it be a terrible idea to have the best teams in the playoffs regardless of conference affliation? 16 teams take the best 16 in the Country and I do not see how anyone could possibly have a gripe.

Its impossible to know when conferences don't play eachother

See UCF-Baylor, Oklahoma-Alabama, Clemson-tOSU, even Duke-TAMU, etc.

The top 10 is all about who you beat, but when half of the SEC is put into the top 15 its pretty much a no lose situation.

Likewise when a bottom dweller(Mizzou) and a mid level(A&M) BIG 12 teams come in and own the SEC, it's not as ESPN as told us.

The MYTH was busted this year and when FSU stomps the imitation Tigers Monday night the SEC ESPN propped up MYTH is over.
