Just left USC Jr's August graduation...

A family member was getting her degree and thought I'd share some observations:

-Upon entering into Colonial Life Dawn Staley Women's basketball U I Heart SEC Arena I was greeted by 2 30ft tall banners of a good women's basketball coach and some guy named Frank
-The ceremony was kicked off with the procession of a spirit stick, I mean the Carolina Mace?, either way it looked like it could be easily broken(get it? broken spirit)
-On a positive note the entire ceremony was ran very efficiently. 70 minutes from start to finish with over 500 names to call. Props to them.
-The alma mater at the end was lackluster. No one seemed to know the words, including the students, and seemed to just be waiting to put up their symbolic arthritis claw hand.
-Walking out on the mezzanine I noticed a built in Bojangles which I thought was a nice touch. I thought we could one up them with a Chick Fil A in the new Littlejohn but we all know there are no Chick Fil As in Clemson.
-Walking outside I stepped into the sauna that is the state armpit and started daydreaming, or hallucinating?, of balmy Saturday's in God's country in just a few weeks.
