It doesn't matter, I get it. But its a cool thing to have weeks at #1 tallying up. It also shows respect for our program. We have 2 top 15 wins, 1 on the road, in 3 games.
Its a flippin no brainer. Grrrrr....

I can understand Alabama being ranked higher than us.

What made me angry was #3. F Ohio State. Then OK got pushed to #2 because.... they beat Ohio State. BS.
Alabama was more of a "sure thing" before the season, so that's why they are still there. We lost a lot of extremely good players including the Quarterback, and that has a big effect. If they don't lose a game, and we don't lose a game, it'll probably stay #1 Alabama #2 Clemson, until we play and beat them. (if we do)

Its just a guess at that point. But now we can evaluate games. NOBODY has a better resume or been more impressive than Clemson. After thumping Lville, we should be #1.
Bama has beaten FSU at a neutral site and thats it.
Clemson has two top 15 wins. Though the Auburn score was 1 possession, it was clear that Clemson dominated. 117 yrds of total offense!!!
We've earned #1. If we were an SEC team it would be a no-brainer.

No but it is a big accomplishment to be ranked #1.
So why wouldn't CLEMSON fans want what is deserved?

Its a nice thing to put in the program, to have "weeks at #1" being added to our history. And it sure can't hurt with recruiting.
Lastly, don't you want what you've earned? Why should this team be any different?
