Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said something fascinating today

in his testimony during the January 6th committee hearing.
He said that in the 2020 election, 28,000 Georgians skipped the presidential election on their ballot but voted for other races.
Raffensperger also said that the Republican congressman got 33,000 more votes than Trump did.
So basically, there were many thousands of Georgians who cared enough to vote, but felt so strongly about not voting for Trump that they skipped voting in the presidential race altogether. That is some pretty convincing evidence as to how badly Trump blew the election.
Yet sadly, Trump’s ego couldn’t handle that, so instead he pushed this ridiculous lie that there was election fraud.
For those Trumpers who didn’t watch the hearing today, you should know that Georgia did a fantastic job counting and recounting votes to ensure an accurate election. As we know, they found that the results were valid. These were Republicans who admitted that they wanted Trump to win, but simply didn’t see any evidence of fraud and were going to uphold the oath they took. Good for them!

JFC, for someone that spouts off about "logic" on here all the time. If you had paid attention, you would find that the rural Pub vote was 4 to 5% lower in the runoff than in the general. I wonder if that was because Dear Leader was busy whining and telling them that the system was rigged and that Georgia was rampant with voter fraud.

So did the overall vote count for GA's US Senators fall short of the down ballot Republican candidates?

Gosh, from the sports board, you seemed reasonable (defense of BB, etc.)
But as the master of deflection, you've really got mad skills.
Taking the 'was there an under-count of votes for the GA senate races relative to down-ballot votes' and then using the extrapolation of that question to come to the conclusion that others (or just I) think that all elections are rigged ... that's simply preposterous (if you are attempting to be logical) or simply desperate (if your intention is to deflect).
If you want to continue this 'lesson in logic' then I'll indulge you. In case you choose to prepare, then the exercise will be:
FACT: GA voters voted in smaller numbers for DJT than they did for down ballot candidates - - - leads to assertion that this situation proved that DJT was despised and that was why he lost.
UNANSWERED QUESTION: Did GA voters also vote in smaller numbers for Republican Senate candidats than they did for down ballot candidates? Answering that question would:
(1) Either help to establish that DJT was 'alone' in being under-represented vis-a-vis down-ballot votes,
-or-
(2) Disprove the assertion that DJT 'stood alone' as under-voted IF the vote turnout for the GA Senate candidates was also lower than the vote turnout for down-ballot candidates.
Logic comes easily to most people, but there are many Americans who are unable to think logically. You won't be ostracized simply by being among the illogical minority.

I haven't spoken with all of them myself.
However, my guess is that there are many Republicans (probably not most, but still a sizable number) who believe that the 2020 Presidential election was rigged/falsified to benefit Biden and hurt Trump. The proportion of Republicans who feel that way probably approximates the proportion who still firmly support Trump. That's obviously a guess on my part.
I also have no way of knowing how many Republicans believe that all elections are rigged. I assume that it's a small number, but I am confident they exist.
I don't understand why you seem so concerned about other Republicans on the ticket in 2020. The point in my post about this, and the point Raffensperger was making, is that many people cast ballots for other Republicans in the race while abstaining from voting for President.
My opinion is that Trump's polarizing personality caused many people in Georgia, and likely in other states as well, to abstain from casting a vote for President. Biden didn't appeal to them either, so they left that column blank.
You are free to have a different opinion.

Because he said just above that line:

Look at the numbers, these are PUB voters(like I was) choosing NOT to vote for Trump or ANYBODY for president.

No, that means that 5K of the 33,000 PUBS CHOSE to vote for Biden(i.e. against Trump) then vote Pub down ballot(just like I did).

It was easy to tell that the voters had struggled with the decision not to vote for Trump from the way they had furiously scratched through his name on the ballot.
