Is this one of those years that…

Nov 21, 2021, 12:15 PM

The talking heads tried to make the ACC look weaker than they should have, and the SEC sound stronger than they should have… I mean even MORE than usual.

Florida sucks, Bama is not as good as usual, Auburn sucks, the rest of the teams that usually suck in that conference suck, UGA is legit.

The last time they did this and got exposed for it in the off season was when they talked down the ACC all year and we ended up with the hardest ranked schedule in the season after beating UL with the Heisman winner, and beating Bama in the last second with DW4 to HR13.

Could it be that even though we have not had the season we imagined (tons of injuries, low Offensive production, etc.) but also the ACC is playing pretty well top to bottom compared to other conferences.

I like it when this happens every few years because that means next week we will absolutely BOAT RACE the chickens.

Go Tigers!

I think the ACC's bowl record speaks for itself. If you will recall, they lost all 6 of their bowl games last year while the SEC was 7-2. Stated more clearly, the ACC tied the all time record for the worst bowl game performance with the MAC and Team USA who had accomplished the feat in prior seasons. Yes, the SEC has some teams down a bit. Others such as Ole Miss and Arkansas are moving up the ladder. Speaking of weak, if Wake beats Boston College they will play for the championship with a ten win season. Army dragged them for 56 points and UNC for 58 points. All the top ACC teams pre-season have dropped off the radar. It's another down year for the ACC. Just facts and data.

Arkansas is no better than UNC or NCST...

Moving up the ladder? They haven't changed...LSU, Florida, Auburn are all just bad.

SCAR beat Florida and Auburn and are starting their 4th string QB and using 2 of the same plays on offense for the entire game. Don't bring that SEC bull $hit in here.

Good question. I hope so, and IMHO all college football is down this year. But with the ACC being 0-6 in bowls this past season, we need to make a statement on the field as a conference. No doubt the SEC is still a much better football conference than the ACC in 2021. But still overrated? Maybe.

We will see if Cincy or Ohio St can beat SEC in the playoffs.
