Is Tennessee the new favorite to win the SEC east?

Oct 22, 2013, 8:42 AM

Just wondering how good they are since they beat the coots, who are the BEST two loss team in America, hands down.

I would say SC is, as long as they beat Missouri this weekend, if not then I believe UF will.

the winner of Mizzou/SCar will win the east***

Missouri currently has a two game lead in the East....

Oct 22, 2013, 9:02 AM

but in addition to $CU, Missouri still has to play Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Texas A & M.

Besides Missouri, the Chickens only have to play Mississippi State and Florida.

On that basis, I wouldn't completely count-out UGa or Florida just yet. The Dawgs and the Capons are both 3- 2 in conference and UGa holds the tie-breaker over the Pee #####.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

If mizzou beats USC they can essentially........

Oct 22, 2013, 9:08 AM

split UT/Kent/Olemiss/TAMU and still win the east

if USC wins they aren't losing to UF or MSU

as for UGA they'll still lose to UF and/or Auburn, they can't overcome the injuries.

you're right nothings a "for sure" thing, but it's now pretty late in the season and teams are running out of games to play catch up.

i still think the winner of mizzou/Scar has the EASIEST road by far from here on out to win the east

I think Missouri has the tougher row to hoe....

with games remaining against Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Texas A & M but I do agree that a win against $CU this Saturday will make it difficult for anyone to knock them from the top spot even if they stumble and drop a game or two.

If Missouri wins they would have to lose all 4 remaining

Oct 22, 2013, 10:18 AM

for Scar to even have a shot. It would put Scar with 3 losses and Mizzou with the tie breaker.

Will be the best three-loss team come Saturday night!***

Can there be a division without a favorite?

Oct 22, 2013, 9:01 AM

Every time somebody gets media attention for being the favorite in the SEC East they lose. Georgia can wrap it up with a win vs Mizzou... nope. Scar is the only real contender because Mizzou can't handle Florida... nope. Now everybody is counting Mizzou as the winner... man I hate when things set up nicely for the coots.

Sadly

Oct 22, 2013, 9:21 AM

usc is the new favorite.

The SEC is rigged and usc has been in the conference longer and paid their penance.

The SEC can't have a former Big 12 team winning a division in football in the second year. IT AIN'T HAPPENING.

Something screwy will happen Saturday in Columbia.

So did the SEC "rig" the Missouri games against UGA and UF?***

No - they factored in the UGA and FL personnel losses, and have to keep interest up to the end of the season.

Basically, if Alabama and Missouri win Saturday - their conference championship is set on the last week in Oct.

Their conference championship will be a sham this year anyway.

BAMA is going to absolutely annihilate the winner of the East, regardless of whether it's Mizzou, SCU, UGA, OR UF.
