Is Mafah better than Shipley now?

Shipley has looked underwhelming so far this year. Also wondering if his NIL deal has gone to his head based on his antics last week.

FSU has 8 guys in the to stop the run and Shipley lacks the power to move defenders back. This is a game where Mafah needs to pound the defense. We need to move the pocket and run Cade.

Really like them both. No need to bag on Ship. The guy leaves it all on the field every time. Be thankful for what he brings to the table.

Shipley is a better receiving back and a better athlete. Mafah is a much better pure running back (with phenomenal vision) and blocker. I would have Mafah as our starter, but Shipley should be on the field a ton and get a bunch of carries.

I only played college ball and coached. lol. Shipley's not the better back. Period. I get you want him to be McCaffrey. He's not. He's a talented athlete and should be on the field a lot (I really like 2 back sets, especially when you're not loaded at receiver). I'd liken him to a less explosive Jeff Demps. But Mafah is significantly better at the skills that make a great running back.

Mafah has been out playing Ship...but I wouldn't say thar necessarily means he's much better.
Ship is the swiss army knife. It's funny because Ship plays like he's the battering ram.
I'm happy to have both -- really opens things up for the 2-back formation

Shipley is better out in space. Mafah is a fire hydrant. There is a place for both on the field. Slot Ship, run Mafah
