If Jeff Scott goes to OC, who takes recruiting coordinator gig?

Dec 2, 2014, 11:13 AM

Surely that is way too much for an OC to handle both. Jeff has done extremely well as recruiting coordinator and it is a huge position.

Mike Reed?
Tony Elliot?
Danny Pearman? (J/k)
Thad Turnipseed?

Any thoughts?

I'm sure Scott will still be very much part of recruiting, that's one of his strong points.

Sigh... As much as it'd pain me to move from Charleston...

Dec 2, 2014, 11:15 AM

I'll take it I guess.

I grew up in Charleston. .

Anyone who would choose to live in Charleston over the upstate must surf a lot.

Come on now - I do love the upstate, and spent my first 25 years there. But the fishing is better down here - and I still make it back for 3-4 weeks a year, plus all our home games. Moved down here 10 years ago To finish school and just couldn't leave. I live in the OV section of MP - wouldn't trade where I'm at for anywhere in the world.

Dude is a heckuva recruiter and he is ready to take the next step

Interesting coming from you. That was my first thought, too.***

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

That seems like the best and most logical choice. The man has done a great job of developing relationships in his territory in a short time. He is young and seems hungry like Scott, don't see why this wouldn't happen.

recruiting already. Much like Scott was when he took it over.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I can't imagine it not being Elliott...

Dec 2, 2014, 11:20 AM

I think this has already been given to him. I think he would have been Chad's choice for OC right there with JS over Craddock, if he weren't getting a promotion.
