What is Dabo waiting for to make the official replacement announcements. I think at this point we all know it will be internal, but the lack of knowing is going to continue to take its toll on recruiting, IMO.

I hope you are correct that he is keeping the team more informed than we fans are. But he still has not made a public announcement so I don’t “know” who the coordinators are going to be. I hope it will be Conn/Goodwin but you are correct, I won’t know until Dabo tells us and we don’t even know for sure that will be announced in the press conference tomorrow. We just know there is a press conference scheduled.

Too bad because given the results of this past season promoting from within gives terrible optics for recruits. It's not the championships seasons that matter. Only your last season counts and given the mediocre job that was done this season coupled with two major coaches jumping ship, recruiting is going to be tough outside of the state. What have you done for me lately rules the roost.

You know how stupid you sound? I actually went to Clemson and want what's best for the program. It's not rocket science to recognize that promoting internally after the worst season in a decade, when the offensive staff put together the second worst offense nationally despite being the third most talented, is not a good look. Especially when the new offensive coordinator coached a 5 Star national championship QB (who broke numerous records in his starts his first year) to the second worst in the country.
And it's true that kids have short memories. If you think a kid cares about our dominance 4 seasons ago, when we've lost 4 of our last 5 big matchups (3 in dominating fashion), you're so out of touch it's sad. Do you not see that we're bleeding recruits and losing tons of players to the portal? We've lost the second-most players to the portal, but only have 12 commitments, which is the second fewest in the country. most importantly, we're struggling to recruit some of the most important positions. We have two linemen committed on both sides of the ball, despite struggling on offensive line. These are undisputed facts, and you putting your head in the sand and calling anyone point it out a coot just highlights the standards you have for yourself in every-day life.

Game plan like we did against the coots.
Run first, DJ5 run first, then pass. Curl routs to tight ends, bombs downfield to wide outs.
Solid Defense! Win the game.
We lost 2 games with Kelly Bryant as our starter (4 with DJ5) our recruiting was fine.
DJ has to improve significantly to keep the starting job next year.
Debo’s Coordinator’s will be fine. ??
Go Tigers, Beat Iowa State! ??

I saw a post that said TE is going to be officially announced by UVA as head coach at 2 PM today. Very much like Dabo to not get ahead of any of these official announcements. At this point we all don’t “know” anything. We will know when Dabo tells us.
