COVID Stimulus garbage....

Dec 3, 2020, 2:54 PM

During the first stimulus package, we spent $2.6T in partisan garbage to save everyone. There's another $900 Billion in tax relief, but I wont count that in this number.

We're about to spend another $900 Billion on stimulus v2.0.

There are roughly 155 Million workers (125 Million full time, 30 million part time) in the United States.

Instead of partisan garbage, we could have given every single working person in the US a check for $22,500. Think about that and what it would have done for the economy for the same long term impact on our economic health with debt and inflation.

$80,000. That, in round numbers, is the amount of national debt for every man, woman and child in the US. Pushing half a mil per family. Somebody is owed every penny of that, and they want their money per the contract.

We're talking about adding more. Crazy.

I don't get any of that money, but on the other hand, we seemed to have 4 or 5 trillion for Iraqis and the Afghans. "Patriots" supported that.

We should probably do that actually. Just mail a check every month until this is over. There are schools, local governments, small businesses, etc. that are hurting too though.
