after her appointment today- real eye opener! Pairs of ladies blue jeans at $218 each. Even those with the holes in the knees. Small things of makeup well over $100 ….. no wonder I never retired.

But sometimes can’t get her to get stuff for herself. I’m not sure we’ve stepped in an old school mall in years.

Yes. Suggested retail price means nothing. Most department stores now play the game of marking everything up double (everyone knows that's not the real price) and then put it on sale for 40 or 50% off and then some times offer another promotion like a coupon for an additional percentage on top of that making you think you are getting a deal but in actuality they are still getting the price they really want even after the discounts.

Lmao my woman makes more than me and happily spends whatever $$$ she wants on whatever she wants. Doesn’t bother me at all. She’s about to get herself a $4,500 Louis Vuitton purse for her birthday lol.

I feel your pain. I went to the grocery store for some grapes for the kids and got to the counter and just the dang bag grapes was $12. Needless to say the kids didn't get their grapes.

Picked up a box of Nilla Wafers at Walmart yesterday and scanned them up at the self checkout and they were almost 5 bucks. (Isn't Bidenomics wonderful?) Had the clerk take them off. I can wait for a BOGO sale at Food Lion or Publix. Can't even count on Walmart any more for the best prices.
