In defense of Cole Stoudt.

Oct 13, 2014, 12:02 PM

I thought he did a credible job against a top notch defense. Watson was having trouble before his injury Saturday. And don't forget Stoudt was also injured and had not practiced. He is not Watson, but who is? I for one appreciate his efforts.

Very, very happy- very, very proud.

Agree. I hope he makes the most of this opportunity

And I hope the players rally around him. I hope he can heal to 100%. I believe that he can help lead Clemson to victory in the next few games until Watson returns. So glad Clemson has two quality QBs.

I don't disagree with your comments but I don't believe Cole Stoudt needs a defense. He has done nothing but be an excellent student athlete. He has demonstrated poise, leadership, and more maturity then many Clemson fans. He doesn't have the same skills as our "starting" QB but he has nothing to apologize for and he is our starter for the next few games. I sincerely hope there is no more whining and complaining about him.

I'm not a Stoudt fan but he has the team on his shoulders now. Proud of him for not just giving up and went in and played decent Sat. just takes to much time to decide. UL was no pushover. the team needs to step up and stand behind him GO TIGERS
