I love Dabo more than all things Clemson but this is on him … I’m happy with what we have accomplished but if we want more changes need to be made and that starts with Dabo changing his philosophy… Brandon streeter has done nothing , absolutely nothing to deserve the job he has at the program of this caliber and the same for T Grisham … I wish them well but this offense is a Fn joke and pathetic to say the least … Dabo needs to stop with the hiring within crap and tryin to build this Clemson “coaching tree” and hire the best available … we could have gone out and hired anyone we wanted offensively and we chose Brandon streeter who was at Richmond and then a qb coach here .. that’s a joke I’m sorry we are better than that right now ! I get missing on guys like we obviously did with dj but the play calling is terrible … other bad teams can complete balls and move the ball we threw 127 Fn screens and swing passes like seriously !? This was building up and your blind if you didn’t see it coming … time to make some decisions at the end of the year and imo Dabo has earned his retirement at comedian forever but it’s time to make a decision if you wanna be a 10-2 program until other acc schools decide to pick it up or make big boy decisions to win more titles and get rid of the weak links

I thought the components or lack there off were there on offense to lay a complete egg at some point and unfortunately we did.
They imposed their will on offense as well. We knew what they were going to do and we could not stop it.

Was hoping we just hadn’t put together a complete game, but now I just don’t think we are very good year. Those earlier games that we squeaked out probably were indicative of who we are.

Agreed… we just aren’t very good. It all starts with the QB play. As long as you have a Watson or Lawrence at the helm, you always felt you had a chance. Right now we have no clue from game to game what kind of QB play we’ll get.

I agree but Watson and Lawrence are not normal players … when you remove generational talent you see the coaching abilities and I’m sorry but I’m sick of watching other games and teams find a way to move the ball and here we are struggling to gain first downs… and Ames have a qb that can’t complete a swing pas but let’s just run screens and swing passes the entire game … this offense is and has been boring snf predictable since he’s been here … and I go back to the lsu loss in the natty with how he called that game and etienne … he doesn’t deserve this job and I’m sick of these hires man we deserve better and can get anyone we want

I was nervous about the game mainly because DJ had reverted and I knew ND would bring their A game. However, I never saw the ### whooping coming that they gave us. Props to ND for having a good gameplan and executing it.

It seems like the play calling was in a way where they were afraid to have DJ try to make big plays. DJ has to read blitzes a d get rid of the ball quicker. Many of his plays reminded me of the UGA game last year.

No, he played the horrible play calls he had. Nothing went down field except 1 pass in first half. It was screens and swing passes. Stupidity in the play calling. Not 100% DJ fault this time, its the OC on this one!

DJ and Streeter wouldn't be in their respective positions at any other top 25 program but ours. They're both charity cases at this point and Dabo needs to become a cold-hearted realist.

I actually DJ would be decent under a different coaching regime. He threw for 450yds as frosh, but can barely get 100 as Jr. Maybe we need to hire his HS QB coach. I don't think everything is on DJ but he does have some head issues.

Notre Dame to trample our defense with physicality. I actually thought we might make the CFP and get rolled in a semifinal.
In retrospect, DJ cratering last game against Syracuse should have been a sign our offense was doomed against ND. I think there is a risk he's going to be emotionally fragile the last 3 games.
Cade isn't ready yet. Better luck next year.
