was rubbing my nose in their recent success at our expense. I told him it would come to a halt--sooner rather than later--and history is on our side.

"Remember Joe Morrison? That was gonna be your big turning point," I said. "But soon you were right back to your normal state of mediocrity. You people can't tell the difference between a run of luck and program-building."

He did everything but stick his fingers in his ears and holler lalalalala. Bet he's having a great weekend. ;)

Also, his wife is one of my best friends; I tolerate him for her sake. I was at their house (for a hen party) the night of the 63-17 beatdown. He'd gone out drinking with his friends, and he made SURE I was gone before he came home! Weasel.
