but now that they are bringing back Cry Baby, Drama Queen sCam Newton....I'm back off the wagon.
I was a Panthers fan when they first began....cheered for them for years. Then they signed Cam Newton and I just kinda dealt with it although I can't stand him. The Panthers refused to ever sign a Clemson player and when they didn't draft Isaiah I was done.
Matt Ruhle was brining me back this year along side Christian McCaffrey but with this move they can go #### themselves. I hope they lose out.

Your more forgiving than me. I went to a couple games in Death Valley back in the Panthers inaugural year but can say it just never took. And then it grew into not pulling for them and then into disliking them during the Cam years. And it can’t be an accident they stay away from Clemson players in the draft
If I watch, it’s usually the Jaguars as I like the city and Trevor , Travis. Do wish Urban would go away , he’s a scumbag.
All in all, the NFL is just boring in my opinion compared to college

I get it...you're a hard core fan but you don't go back to someone that cause a lot of friction towards the end of his career. Cam isn't the future. This is a very poor decision. They aren't winning the SB this year. So just lose and get a good draft pick.

They have way too much talent elsewhere to give up on the season, its only half over. I get it people here dont like the Panthers but this is just stupid. Why give up on a season when there is no reason to?

would have passed on Trevor. Then rationalized the decision. There would be a certain amount of good will had they ever drafted at least one front line Clemson player. Just one in nearly 30 years. Nope.
And I realize they don’t give a darn about us CU fans. At least I can laugh at them and enjoy their misery:

Facts are facts. Go see the mural in the Clemson athletic offices where they have all of the 32 teams in the NFL and the names that were drafted all-time... ZERO for the panthers and that's the only team that's a big ZERO. Very odd that they're the representative "Carolina" team and could give a ratzazz about the best college football factory in the Carolina's. Yet they'll draft and sign a Gamecock and have multiple times. Its just very odd that in 26 years you can't get a sniff.. i mean even a 6th rounder... no? wow.

have yet to draft a Clemson player. Remember, the Panthers played their first season in the early 1990s in Death Valley.
Jerry Richardson was the Panthers owner for 23 years. His son Mark Richardson played on the 1981 team that beat Nebraska in the Orange Bowl for our first National Title. For some reason, as of today, the Panthers have still not drafted a Clemson player.
There have been a small handful of Clemson players (3 or 4) that came to the Panthers via a trade, but zero draft picks over almost 30 years.

give 2 shids about the Panthers. As a yute, I was a Green Bay Packers fan (1960s), and later a Cowboys fan when Chrlie Waters was drafted by Dallas and was one of the few Clemson players playing a prominent role in the NFL. I also pulled for the Falcons, as I used to ride my bike to watch them all day at training camp during summers at Furman. The Falcons were always my southern, "hometown" team. Charlotte and the Panthers, despite their efforts to market themselves as a team that belongs to both Carolinas, has never had that feel for me, and I feel zero connection there.

Yes, me too. I was just getting back on board with the excitement of watching Sam "The Man" Darnold. I can't believe they signed $cam Newton to play over a nice young man like him. Just because SAM sees some ghosts every now and then and throws the ball straight up in the air to the other team doesn't mean he isn't just a delight to cheer for. What's Cam ever done besides win the MVP and get his team to the Super Bowl? I'm not watching Sunday if Sam isn't playing and that's that!

last few years..an awful cam plus this awful o line isnt going to amount to much..50 years from now cam will be using a walker and panther fans will be screaming for them to bring him back..the love affair many panther fans have with cam makes me laugh.
