I'm a little surprised to see UGA plummet in the rankings...

from #1 at the end of last season to #3 at the beginning of this one. Conversely, Clemson shot up from #14 to #4. I think that says a lot about the faith other coaches have in both Kirby and Dabo. You also know that UGA players and recruits are seeing this poll and are starting to wonder what all these head coaches know that they don't. I just hope Kirby's skin is thick enough to not let this slight affect him and he doesn't lose his locker room.

Clemson brought everybody back on defense and UGA lost their whole defense. Not hard to see in all honesty.

You must not have read that correctly, he said that they lost only the whole defense. The offense hasn't been lost yet, but the offense wasn't very good last year anyway.

I agree Kirb's has a lot to be concerned about. What with Sports Clips now charging full price even when you bring your own bowl. The daily time away from fall practice visiting the Athens Detention Center. The constant checking up on his wife to make sure she's not coming on to Muschamp. It's got to be a ton of pressure...

Their best WR immediately transferred to Bama
Their Dline was what won the natty for them.
Their QB is a walk-on that had ALOT of weapons
Their 2x starting RBs left for the NFL
I won’t be shocked if they lose to USC this year. They have a target on their back: “who’s gonna be the first SeC team to knock off last years champion?”

I agree with the comparison to LSWho from 2019 in that they have been off the radar. Unfortunately the violation part is now legal. The interesting part though is how there still seems to be a drop off for the pups

Most are not surprised at all given the only reason UGA won last year was a perfect storm of key teams being down or having an unprecedented number of injuries. Any other year UGA would not have sniffed a trophy like every other year since 1980.

are facing an obscure team from out west in game 1 while we are facing a traditional conference powerhouse from their backyard. If Kirby had faith in himself and his players, he would not be scheduling tune-up games and would get straight to work like Clemson. Beating their in-state rival in Game 1 will definitely show them who the big dog really is.
