I’ll miss the Wake Game. But for good reason…

My son’s first year with Pop Warner (10U group) has them undefeated and have given up only 19 points all season. Outscoring their opponents 280 to 19. They are now the 10U SC State Champs and are heading to Concord NC to play for the Regional Title. I’ll be there cheering for the Capitol City Ravens! If they win on the 20th, we’re heading to Orlando for the Pop Warner National Playoffs. While it’s been years since I’ve missed a Clemson game, I can’t think of a better reason. Go Tigers and Go Ravens!!!

I do miss all those years I coached Pop Warner Teams. Didn't win like the Ravens, but kids had fun and every single one got playing time if they showed up for practice.

....they DO make sure every player gets playing time... but that's where participation therapy ends!
Most of our coaches are former College and NFL players and/or coaches, and they push these 10 & 11 year olds to leave it all on the field. We actually had TWO teams throw in the towel in the 3rd quarter this year... No mercy.
