It's a fascinating breakdown of how the media rights work during expansion, and he explains why the B1G wants Clem/FSU-- and it makes sense.

Watch first 35 min. if you can. If not, try and catch 25:00 - 35:00 or so... (talks about UW/Ore/FSU/Clem being coveted by B1G and why)

Just don’t see the BIG10 as a landing spot for either Noles or Tigers- makes too much sense with location, history/rivalries, & the south IS college football- PERIOD

he outlines why FOX wants Clem/FSU, and FOX controls things for B1G. Uses viewer numbers, etc... Really interesting info.

Sounds to me like the B1G will basically control OTA

big games with the SEC now exclusively on ESPN, and that's where the ratings and money are. With FOX and CBS as OTA partners, that's 2 of the 4 major OTA networks. The sale of ABC/Disney muddies things there. NBC is ND exclusively.

That guy obviously knows more than I do. His reasoning sounds logical. But, that doesn't mean FSU and Clemson to B1G is a done deal. It just means (to me) that if they head to B1G they made a wise financial decision - if he's right.

expansion. He has a big, influential twitter following, supposedly including DRad. He seems very insightful regarding TV exec decision-making and has worked in the AD for 2 BIG10 schools. If you have any interest in BIG10 thoughts/plans/actions he is a "must read".
