Why can't we get 2 again? If both teams are undefeated when we play them, I could see us getting GT and FSU, or if ND somehow beats GT this weekend, ND and FSU.
They've already covered 2 Bama games. I wouldn't put it past them to make it 3 in 5 weeks, but Bama/UGA is the only other deserving game imo on Oct 3rd. Therefore even with a loss to GT, we may still get it for ND. Shoot, why don't we just make it 3 this year.
If it was up to me, I'd have gameday at every Clemson home game considering it's arguably the best college football town in the country. (I may be slightly biased)

FSU doesn't have realistic national title aspirations, nor does ND without its QB. GT has historically done very poorly in the post-season (last year being the anomaly). To non-Clemson fans, we don't exactly have a great shot at the title, either.
As a Clemson fan, I like what we have, but ESPN is looking for what the rest of the country is interested in. I could see them visiting once, but no way we get it twice unless something crazy happens.

If we keep winning and GT wins this weekend then there's a good chance that both teams will be in the top 10 in 3 weeks. If FSU wins out and we win out. Then there's a good chance we both will be in the top 6 when we meet. With this scenario I could see them coming to town for both GT and FSU. If Bama gets by Ole Miss this weekend then the Bama/UGA game will be 2 top 7 teams. There is no way we end up with that high of ranking prior to 3 Oct.

In my opinion, Clemson/ND is sexy enough nationally, especially since we haven't played them in 35 years. That said, I agree it may not be enough to beat out a top 5-7 SEC showdown. If us and FSU are both undefeated (I know that's a big if) come November, that also could be a top 5 showdown.
It's all speculation at this point, but I don't think it's out of the question. Nationally, I doubt anyone really cares about Clemson/GT, so I agree with you there.
