I’d really like to see DJ travel with the team as backup QB in the Orange Bowl.

In my view this should be handled on a case by case basis, and I believe DJ has shown he’s the type of teammate who would help and compliment Cade anyway he can.
He’s earned that reward, experience, and time with his brothers.

Mack Brown provided a lot of comment regarding this. It sounded Daboesque saying that if he believed the player was part of why they were there AND would work hard to contribute to the team in the game, he would allow it.
Dabo hasn’t provided a POV as far as I’ve heard.

I agree, but I think he’s been ready to go back to Cali.
Be surprised if he stays until Orange Bowl.
This. And does he want to risk getting hurt playing backup at a place where he has no future?

I had hoped he would wait to make a formal announcement until after the bowl game which I think would have made this more likely. I guess now that is up to him and Dabo to decide.

I think DJ is done at Clemson and will not be with the team any longer. At this point, It is best everyone moves on. I think he is a great young man and I wish him nothing but the best moving forward. He will be a graduate and will always be a Tiger!

I think he’d only help. Doubt it happens though. His presence may end up as a media distraction regardless of anything he does.

You know ..... DJ may actually be a better QB coming off the bench, especially when the expectations and weight of the game is not squarely on his shoulders.
