Y'all talk all the smack you want, but if you aren't on the front line seeing pts die, putting yourself and therefore your loved ones at risk, and watching the very very real struggle for resources (and I work for the very well off Kaiser Permanente, not a community hospital), then you really should think twice about the your "factual" opinions and chit talkin.
Sure, it's my job. I could leave and choose another. Is that really what you want your experienced RNs and MDs, RTs, and other care providers doing?
Been doing this 14 years, don't get rattled by much.. Not much of a news guy at all so I don't get caught in the hype, but I am in it, seeing it, and living it. This one is real. I'm a healthy 41 yr old and am simply banking on my immune system to get me through WHEN I do get exposed.
Take precautions, take care, and maybe think twice before you allow your limited understanding and experience drive what is actually in the best interests of public health.
Cheers y'all, take care of one another, and GOOO TIGERS!!!
