What's your go-to beer then?

One of those guys builds houses now and another one of them teaches English in Japan, IIRC. A third one of them is a pedophile/minister.

PBR has been my top shelf beer of choice for decades
Jan 26, 2022, 10:02 AM

as it was my father's. It takes a back seat to no other, its wide spectrum ranges from fishing in the swamp to a black-tie formal event. A long-neck bottle if at all possible. The hipsters tried to steal it as their own, but my loyalty pre-dates their trendiness by decades.
I am not a man who puts on false airs. I am not a man starving for attention or afraid of being stereotyped or stigmatized. You can have your fancy fruity and flavored brew, that's not for me.
My 2nd choice is Old Milwaukee (home consumption only). I have given up finding it in a social establishment. But it's a solid fallback.
Saying that, I just bought the most awesome ballcap off ebay. Absolute perfection.

Yard beers aren't supposed to cost anything. They just magically sprout out of fresh cut grass and materialize in your refrigerator around the Super Bowl.
But in a pinch on the way to the lake, I'll take Miller High Life. But it has to be cold, otherwise it's pretty much straight urine.

Could get a sixer of bottles for $2.50 back in the day. 5.6 abv so could get a pretty darn good buzz for next to nothing. Of course that was probably 30 years ago, lol. No idea how much it is now, or if they even still make it.
