I think number 14 for us is fair, as far as sched.

goes, I HATE to see S Car. above us but im hoping that changes but it looks like we have the preseason 7, 9, 20, and 25 team while playing two others that recieved votes...seems pretty balanced
Obviously, winning takes care of the rankings and starting at 14 this year is better than starting unranked like last year

I dont think its really that important, but it gives an inside edge to the teams as we saw last year when were were chasing BAMA, LSU, and OSU last year during mid season jockeying for position

Wrong. It was the loses to GT, NC ST, and USuC that dropped us from contention. Win those, and we're playing LSU.

Not if OSU pulled it against ISU..we would be 3 and outside looking in...i dont think its a make or break but i thinks its an advantage we would like on our side is all

WR target (I can't think of another WR they have--Ace Sanders maybe? Barnes still there? Ellington?), they can't give it to Lattimore 45 times a game this year 'cause of his injury, half their D-Line is gone, and their entire secondary. They'll win 7-9 games but no more. Count it.

I agree with you that Lattimore is a question mark and that the loss of Gilmore in the secondary will be hard to overcome.

I'm not saying that So Car does not have talent. They do. But look at some of the teams on their schedule: Clemson, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Tenessee. We have all recruited lights out compared to them. When you consider all the NFL talent they have lost plus assitant coaches, I'll be shocked if they do better than 6-6.

How do you figure that Clemson has recruited "lights out" compared to SC? Have you checked the latest rankings? Rivals has SC ranked 13th and Clemson 14th. All of the major services have them very close. Also, they have recruited better on the oline, which doesn't equate in the stars category.

it you are in the preseason top 15 it gives you a boost as far as making you're way up to the national championship
