Saw article where he has lost 8 lbs. since last season. He is at 180 which is very light for a safety. I thought he looked thin during GT gane.
My son played safety at 180 his first year at Furman and it was tough on his body. Now at 205 holds up much better. Needed every pound of it tackling Davis Allen, Ship a few weeks ago

Did mukuba have some health issues in off season? Usually guys pack on the weight first off-season with weight lifting program, nutrition etc

261tiger They mentioned in the Spring that they were going to work him some at CB.
I don't know but wonder out loud if that's why he lost the weight. I think if he is going to the next level of football; he will have to gain at least 25 lbs. to play safety. If he's going to play CB he's about 10 lbs. shy I would guess for the next level.

He has to gain good weight to stay healthy playing Safety. He should have weighed in around 195 lbs if his progression was on track, but for whatever reason he lost weight.

Either way, I just hope he's okay.
