But UNC opting out does not bode well for Hubert Davis as the long term head coach in Chapel Hill. You have to get your team to at least pretend to be enthusiastic about competing in the post season.

Next year will be Davis' last year at UNC without an NCAA tourney run.

They shouldn’t be playing in the NIT. The NIT isn’t even as good a tournament as jt was a few years ago. You don’t even get the exposure of playing in New York like you used to. I’d be surprised if it lasts too much longer.

return the same players and not even make the NCAA tournament the following year?

Is this the first time a preseason #1 has failed so badly?

I actually like Hubert Davis. He's a class act and an ethical, Christian man. I don't actively root against them since he became the coach.

unc, according to unc believes their **** don’t smell as bad as anybody else and so must excuse themselves from the opportunity to be exposed as a so so team. I’m excited for Clemson’s opportunity to show what they can achieve.
