advisor to grow our wealth exponentially. I cannot tell you anything about the market. It doesn’t matter. I do my part. He does his part and we all make money.

When things are booming, or the guy who keeps you off skid row when things tank, but never both. Most guys split the diff.

The portfolios may not be good comparables. For example, if you had a discussion with your FA and indicated that you have a more moderate risk tolerance and your objective is to produce income, and your Robinhood account is your 'play' account so you take more risks, then your Robinhood account is probably going to do better when the overall stock market is performing well. The FA has to pick investments that are within your risk tolerance and investment objectives.

Not trying to say that is what's going on in your case, but it's something to think about before jumping ship.
