It seems to me in general that even the "cupcake" teams are more competitive this year than in the past. I put this due to a lot of Covid "super seniors" coming back for that extra year. We have several on our own team, such as Skalski and Turner.

We saw several small teams upset big teams the first two weeks, and others just barely lose. I do not recall this level of "parity" nationwide ever before. Just one "Benefit" from the scourge that is Covid.

I think the Super Seniors plus the Portal are raising the level of competition across the board. Adds some extra excitement to the FB season!

a MAJOR interruption of practice, focus, all kinds of stuff from last year and this year due to covid crap and this and that.



so maybe some teams are just not focused properly, training slipped, practice slightly down etc ...
