I felt a bit bad for Feaster. After carrying the load on

the dagger drive, he was pulled and Choice got the TD. And then Etienne gets praised heaped on him because of his long run. Feaster seems to be a bit forgotten.
Also, this is a small concern, but does anybody else worry that Swinney playing his son might plant a bit of resentment in some of the scholarship WR recruits..somebody like Cornell Powell who did not get a touch. Maybe I am just being silly.

I forget exactly when it happened, but Feaster completely whiffed on a block on a blitzing LB that got KB sacked. That's a clue why he doesn't get more PT. Still, he's too good of a RB to sit on the bench.

I'm guessing to see if he could handle the blocking part of his assignment. Face it, if he can't block on passing downs he's not going to be the man.

It was on a big 3rd down play that Feaster whiffed the block and KB got sacked. I agree that Feaster is a hell of a back, but if he misses blocks, it will limit his playing time.

I could get behind this except that the missed block occurred BEFORE the drive where Feaster came out for Fuller. Clearly, the coaches did not punish Feaster for the missed block. Fuller didn't see the field again against Auburn after fumbling.

Feaster's whiff wasn't any worse than Pollard's and it is something he can correct. He was in the right place, but just seem to lower his head and try and hit him low. He will learn!

Feaster got a few good carries. Also he celebrated choices TD. This is a selfless team. As for will Swinney, no I don't think any issues arise. 73 of 75 players saw the field.

Powell didn't play all night as he is usually our main kick returner. May have been sick or something with that stomach bug

I would think it had to be something. Hopefully not in any trouble. Idk why else tue coaches would have a true freshman returninf kicks for the first meaningful time on the road.

With the depth of our wide receivers, I was not a fan of the Swinney move but that is the coaches call.

I have spent time second guessing Dabo and team, but the last 4 years showed I was wrong. Time for you to have that epiphany.

I agree but was too afraid to post. Sweeney son should never see the field unless he earned it in practice and that does not appear to be the case.

football has forgotten Feaster. In my mind, he clearly demonstrated that he is ready for a much more prominent role and is capable of greatness. I think a lot of people have already written Feaster off, and moved on to Etienne as the savior at RB. I believe that is a big mistake and typical of short-sighted, over-reacting fans. Personally, I like all of our RBs, but see the talent and high ceiling with both Feaster and Etienne.

Whaaaaa? Where you getting this? You're the only person I've heard say this. Most want him as the featured back.

Many, if not most people are now wanting Feaster as the featured back. Prior to last night, certainly going back to last season, it seemed to me that many viewed Feaster as a disappointment and had embraced Etienne instead as the next hope at RB. Some criticized Feaster's speed (or lack thereof), his toughness, etc. Some are still critical about his pass blocking. It's all here on T-net.

Feaster was clearly the best back last night imo, and him and Entienne should be getting the most touches. But you're all correct, the missed block was obvious and will limit his touches. I "think" Feaster had his dominant series after the missed block though (but I could be wrong).
Should be a scrimmage next weekend, we'll see alot of freshmen

sack in the 1st quarter, but don't remember Feaster's (not saying it didn't happen). Point is, just because a back misses a block doesn't necessarily mean his touches should be limited, and citing one in a game is not evidence of such.

I think you are correct when you speculate that you are being silly. Feaster was a bit winded. Coach Swinney also congratulated him on the good work when he took him out. As far as Will getting a touch, Dabo did not make that call. The game was late and the fourth stringers were in. Cornell's day is coming, he will just have to be patient.

Choice didn't get that TD. He was stuffed twice and KB took it in on third down. I think Feaster was winded and Choice had fresh legs is why they switched, but I thoughtthey shoulda let him finish it

I thought Fuller was stuffed twice, then KB ran it in. I'm still groggy. WRT Swinney, a glorified handoff from Johnson netting zero yards is REALLY something for people to get upset about? I'm amazed at some of the things people concern themselves with after a 47-21 blowout over a top 15 team.
