Funny that people that believe in evolution will cost me more, than people that believe in God.
My parents believe in God and cost me nothing.
People like FB coach believe in sitting on their ###, collecting a check, and getting free health care.
Dems will answer their anguished cries for permanent handouts. All that, so that they can play God.

Who currently pays for health care expenses for the uninsured who show up at the hospitals and emergency rooms? I'll wait.

So our current system already awards free healthcare to freeloaders. What system do you propose that will do away with freeloading on healthcare?

about our coming about until Von Daniken and the ancient alien folks starting making some sense. Couldn't an advance species, God, whip up an animal in its likeness in a lab in a day? Take a rib sample and graft a chick for kicks later? A little water, land, heavens spreading? Impact vibrations "ring" on the moon for hours. Is it hollow? Planted there to help terraform Earth and provide a goldilocks environment on the surface for a planet in a star's goldilocks zone?
Weeks turn into years, how quick they pass.

Just curious for those who scoff at us Christians who believe that God is the author of life... So where did the chemicals, stardust, or whatever material put forth by your favorite life origin theory come from? How were those materials "created"? How did those materials come into existence?
If one follows evolution all the way back to its very start, one has to make a leap that at some point something spontaneously came from nothing. IMO believing that a supernatural being (i.e. God) created something from nothing is no more ridiculous than any other unprovable theory that scientists have come up with.

Technically I believe the current theory is that there was a singularity containing all of the matter and energy that we can observe expanding in all directions in the known universe. I don’t pretend to even begin to understand the physics and math of astronomy.
That being said... who knows? Sometimes “I don’t know” is an acceptable answer, and one I find particularly more palatable than an all-being all-knowing anthropomorphized universe creator who also gets upset when you eat pork or whack off.

Not eating pork or whacking off makes you tastier when they return to collect. I mean rapture you. You get the point.

And that's the difference between science and religion

science goes "we don't know but we will keep studying it"
Religion goes "because God. Now stop asking questions"
It's amazing that Christians can't believe that the building blocks of matter have always been around but can fully agree that a completely put together "god" has always been around.
Where did matter come from? Same question to Christians, where did God come from?

when it comes to those serving in Congress. AOC and her nutty pals Talib, Omar, and Pressley are just as crazy on the left. Unfortunately these folks are all part of the new generation of unaccomplished crazy that we will deal with as the "old" crazy of the Pelosi/Maxine Waters variety age out.
Perhaps the more relevant discussion is: why are people like this in Congress? Are these people truly the best we can find to send to Congress? They certainly aren't the smartest or most accomplished people in our society - so why are they being elected to make our laws? Why/how do these people continually get re-elected?
I'm afraid the answers to those questions may say a lot about "we the people" who elect them. Almost as much as it does about the ironfisted two party political system that effectively prevents party outsiders from gaining elected office while nurturing generations of self-entitled career politicians...
